Transcript of text messages with left-winger who went to Washington D.C. to “protest” Trump’s inauguration…

ME (Boston): (Stirring the pot) – Happy Inauguration Day!text

HE: Worst day in US history. Here in D.C. with appropriate banner. See you tomorrow at Women’s March in Boston! Trying hard not to throw up

ME: Nope. Not marching against Trump. Wish him well and cutting him some slack until he screws up. Don’t share those sentiments. Dems sore losers

HE:  Already has screwed up. BTW on Monday he is proposing 10 trillion in budget cuts over next decade, twice Ryan budget cuts. I’m not a sore loser, don’t get mad, get even! I don’t wish him well…

ME: Childish tantrum! Boo hoo!

HE: Adult patriotism. Why do you identify with this jerk?

ME: Because I like some of what he stands for, and I hope he can turn some things around and because I don’t believe government is the answer … and because I don’t allow others to think for me – right or wrong!!! I’m surrounded by jerks! What’s one more?

trump-protests-inaug

…I was playing with his head a bit – pulling his strings. But I DO support the demonstrations (I don’t call them protests)…happening today (1/21/2017) in Boston, in the nation’s Capitol, in other U.S. cities and worldwide. I strongly support people marching peacefully (and in justified cases like the Civil Rights marches, more forcefully) to push for their rights…with respect and civility and a point/message.

What I DON’T support are those anarchists who took to the streets of Washington D.C on Inauguration Day, attacking police, burning cars and trashing people’s property. I don’t support tactics that instead of advancing a cause, push it backward.

But YES, I’m pleased to see the HUGE turnout for the Women’s March the day after Trump’s inauguration. But it’s not enough to just put on a pink hat, walk around a couple blocks with a placard then go home and on election day tell yourself:

  • Well, I’m just too tired to go and vote
  • There will be a large turnout so if I don’t vote, it does not matter
  • My vote doesn’t count
  • I don’t like the candidate
  • I’ll have time, I’ll go later…I’ll go tomorrow, I’ll go next week!

Women’s March – Washington DC

Then, when a million other people don’t vote, because every single ONE of these people was thinking the VERY same things above, like you who did not vote for Clinton…all depending on someone else to carry the burden for you OR leaving that voting booth feeling sanctimonious for taking a political high road…we then turn out and “protest”! Yet when you had the opportunity to PREVENT all this, YOU DIDN’T.

This table I did above (hope my math is sound) shows what would have happened IF people had voted for Clinton instead of Gary Johnson and Jill Stein. Did these voters really believe that Gary Johnson (aka Mr. Aleppo, in my mind) and Jill Stein (remember “Jill not Hill”?) were better candidates than Hillary Clinton? Did they really believe that Jill Stein would win! Are you OUT of your minds? Now you’re protesting. So not impressed!!!

womens-march-australia

Women’s March – Australia/New Zealand

In my table alone, about A-MILLION people voted for Stein and Johnson. So let this BE a learning election. EVERY VOTE COUNTS and a “protest” vote is a vote FOR the opposition. The ONLY republican “protest” was in Utah where 207-thousand people voted for another republican, Mormon Evan McMullin, instead of Trump.

So hopefully, those people now in the streets who DID NOT vote, or voted Stein or Johnson or blank — WILL vote STRATEGICALLY in future elections and leave their petulant hurt feelings at home in November 2018 and beyond. Because when you SULK and DON’T VOTE for the Party candidate you did not want…you end up with a President and ruling party you also don’t want! (Although, Trump could do so well that everyone will vote for him! Who knows.)

And remember — NOT voting also means that your party loses:

  • Governors
  • Senators
  • Representatives
  • Other officials

Local results affect our lives in areas closer to home. Trump wasn’t the candidate the GOP establishment wanted. He wasn’t the candidate rank and file republicans wanted. But they rallied around him…while we were asking: “How can they embrace Trump with all the revelations about his treatment of women (alleged), his refusal to release his taxes, the things he said”, etc.

How? Because OF THE SUPREME COURT! They were smarter! FUTURISTIC!

While Democrats were nursing their fragile, HURT feelings, Republicans held their nose and voted FOR Trump, because they were looking ahead and Democrats and other Liberals were IN THE MOMENT, undergoing therapy. GROW UP! No wonder Republicans think we are sissies! We probably are, too!

Laters! vote

Hail to the Chief!

This black immigrant female is watching the Trump Inauguration (01/20/2017). I started watching yesterday. I love the pageantry, the orchestration, the gravitas, the peaceful transition of power.

New First lady Melania Trump is looking wow as she makes her way to the church service. When I saw her step out of Blair House, with her pale blue? outfit and the gloves I thought Jackie Kennedy. (CNN now saying she’s wearing Ralph Lauren). I’ve heard several commentators also use the Jackie comparison.

trump-inauguration

Wives hugging – husbands not!

So some Democrats are boycotting the Inauguration. I don’t support that.

Democrats need to put their fake outrage aside and REPRESENT the nation. The “protesting” donkeys need to remember they’re not only representing their districts, they’re representing the entire nation, because without them there is NO Congress. Their actions don’t just reflect on THEIR districts; their senate confirmations don’t have consequences for just THEIR districts; their actions have consequences for the ENTIRE nation.

I hope they will feel the same when the next Democrat takes over and a group of Republicans boycott too. Guess what, they’re politicians, and so they will be screaming blue murder (whatever that means), hypocritically come up with fake reasons why THEY are now justified because it is SUCH a different situation, and be totally OUTRAGED at the way these Republicans are eroding the nation’s democracy by daring, yes DARING, to challenge the legitimacy of “their” President…like Republicans did to President Obama!

boycott-dems

Really? Grow up!

Obviously there are NO Trump supporters in the districts these Democrats represent. They want and call for a unified nation, while alienating Trump supporters and other republicans in their districts! To me, these Democrats are grand-standing and posturing for the next vote count.

I don’t care how much they preach “principle”. Principle my — thumb?

  • They’re upset Hillary Clinton lost.
  • They think Russia helped Trump Win.
  • They’re upset a Republican won an election they should have easily won.
  • They’re upset at themselves, but can’t express that.
  • They’re peeved things did not go their way.

And to all this I say: Grow up!  Morons. She lost, Trump won, HE’s the PRESIDENT. Boo Hoo!

Clinton Lost: because of HER. She ran a campaign that was lacking. SHE was lacking as a candidate. Bernie Sanders told you! YOU didn’t listen. NOW you want to protest! Blacks did not warm towards Clinton. Women did not warm towards her – imagine that! Women listened the FIRST female to secure either major party’s nomination for President, a former First Lady and former Secretary of State, a  professional, world-class high profile well-educated leader … then they listened to Donald Trump and heard about his alleged mistreatment of women, his thoughts about women, his infidelities, his many marriages, and STILL VOTED FOR TRUMP. They choose Trump.

Clintons

Former President Bill Clinton and then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Democrats think that these foolish American women could not process any of this information about Trump — so when the Russian leader phoned personally asking these befuddled, undecided women to:  “Vote for Trump” — THAT just cinched the deal!

Ironically Mrs. Clinton attended the Inauguration and the luncheon! Kudos to her. She did not have to attend. Yes she was the MOST justified to SKIP, given some of the things Trump said about HER and her family. But good for her, stiff upper lip and all…she came, and I applaud her for it, and thank her too! Good reflection on her, her husband and Democrats – as opposed to those fools now taunting police, setting garbage cans on fire and thrashing buildings! Very gracious, appropriate and conciliatory move by Trump to recognize Hillary Clinton at the luncheon too!

trump-protests

Oh no! THAT will stop President Trump from coming to work Monday!!!

Russia helped Trump Win: May have helped solidify her negatives, but the MEDIA helped do that the MOST. Are they also boycotting the media? NO! Trump’s supporters were just MORE loyal or loyal-er! Like Trump said: he could shoot someone in the middle of the street and his supporters would still support him. He was right. He gauged his supporters correctly. Clinton did NOT have that kind of LOYALTY from her rank and file supporters. Yes, she had a CORE of loyal supporters, but not at Trump’s level!

The whites in middle America who lost their jobs, voters watching their kids/loved ones overdose on heroin and Meth, voters watching their state over-run with immigrants (from THEIR point of view), voters seeing their slice of the pie being eroded…and who voted for Trump. Russia did not so that.

Russia did not make Clinton, who should have know better, use a PRIVATE server (or maybe they did!). Maybe the grand Russian plan started years ago when Mrs. Clinton became Secretary of State and they planted an advisor who URGED her to use a private server.

russians

And maybe the Russians urged Wall Street to invite Mrs. Clinton to speak and ensured the banks paid her astronomical fees so that it would come back to haunt her later?

Those Russians are wily! Many adjectives available to describe politicians who fall for those wily Russian ploys!

How do you describe politicians who avoid the press, because the Russians told them to do so? … OR changed their positions on things because the Russians made them misspeak? or fake apologize because the Russians told them NOT to apologize sincerely?

Democrats are upset and peeved Republicans won: They should be upset at THEMSELVES for rigging things so Clinton could win the nomination even when many predicted that she was a flawed candidate AND “The Establishment” did not listen.

The Dems automatically assumed that disgruntled Bernie Sanders supporters would embrace their candidate…The Berns did not. Dems automatically assumed that blacks would turn out in droves in an anti-Trump backlash – blacks did not.

bernie-supporters

Russians?

Disgruntled democrats should remember that Clinton’s NEGATIVES among women and white males were LOW long before Russia appeared on the scene.

So I say: Let Trump have his day. And maybe Democrats will live to see another day that goes their way!

By the way: Where is Chris Christie?

Finally THINK on this: Know how republicans are always claiming that ineligible people vote in U.S elections! Well, they’re right! Because an intelligent (not intelligence) source told me that: Mrs. Clinton would have lost more states…if so many Russians who dislike Vladimir Putin (the Russian leader) had not voted FOR Hillary. I will leak that to Buzzfeed!

Hypocrisy: Republican’s 28th Amendment!

How is it that the SAME Republicans who say Trump should be EXCUSED for his indiscretions/comments from 10-years ago because it is in the PAST and as good Christians we should forgive –  and Trump is NO LONGER the same person now…are happy to crucify Bill Clinton for his indiscretions of 20-years ago!

How is it that the same Republicans who insist that Hillary Clinton has a public persona and a private persona and that this means we can’t trust her because she says one thing in public and one thing in private, unlike Trump, who is “himself” at all times – REFUSE to accept that Trump IS what he says when he demeans women and others?

How is it that Republicans want a married woman, who loves her husband, and is hurt by his adultery, to support the women her husband had an affair with?

Does this not underscore the callous disregard Republicans have for women?

Republicans want Hillary Clinton, the scorned wife, to be NICE to her rivals…because that is what wives DO when their husbands cheat on them…

Which Republican wife – or any woman for that matter, reading this – is willing to go to meet with the women her husband cheated on her with and embrace them?

“Hey, so-oo nice to meet you! How can I support you? My family is going through hell AND public humiliation, but I insist on helping YOU, the other woman, cope. I want to be NICE to you for having sex with my husband!”

Really? I’m assuming Amish women do not read my blog!

Republicans say: Hillary enriched herself at the expense of public office…

I say:  Trump enriched himself at the expense of workers he stiffed…

They say: Hillary is a liar

TI say: Trump is an equal or bigger liar.

republican-hypocrisy3trump-marla1

They say: NOTHING about his adultery, and the divorces, Republican hypocrites.

I say: Trump is a serial adulterer…and to Republicans, the epitome of Family values, naturally, unlike Bill Clinton who actually STAYED with his wife! The cad!

Hillary Is a Democrat. Trump is, well, Trump.

The better choice? You still don’t KNOW?

Ask republican Carly Fiorina. What did Trump say about her face again?

trump-fiorina

Hello Mike Pence. Embrace those “Family Values” you all so love to pontificate about! Moral majority…what a JOKE, when it’s so easily sacrificed at the altar (or would that be alter) of politics!

Let’s Cruise…CRUZ!

I would like someone, anyone, particularly republicans (and especially Ted Cruz) TO EXPLAIN TO ME HOW ON EARTH he plans to WIN a general election…across an America that does NOT give a fig about his brand of “values” especially those that say gays should NOT be able to marry whomever they choose – and that undocumented immigrants should be rounded up and deported even if they’ve lived in the U.S. for decades!

(I’m not asking how Cruz plans to campaign and what his strategy is).  I just want Cruz to explain to me:

Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz “filibuster” on Health Care

1. WHICH are THE states that he sees himself WINNING in a general election?
2. More specifically, among the states that President Obama won, which are the ones Cruz sees will go to him in 2016 ?
3. Does he see himself winning California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts etc?
4. Does Cruz see himself winning over Democrats and Independents?
5. Does Cruz see himself winning the BLACK vote?
6. Does Cruz see himself winning the Hispanic vote?
7. Does Cruz see himself winning the Immigrant vote?
8. Does Cruz see himself winning with the Gay/Transgender community?
9. Or do republicans think that they can win a presidential election with only the “conservative” vote?

Tea Party unfavorables Oct 2013-Pew
10. Does Cruz understand that he is winning with only the Tea Party faction within the Republican Party?Unlike Donald Trump, he has so far NOT pulled in a diverse demographic.

Moderate, aka “Establishment” republicans DON’T like Cruz – they don’t want him as their nominee. (Yes, they’re now saying they may hold their nose and vote for him just to oppose Donald Trump) but HE is not their first or even second or any choice. But he thinks that the nation likes him – when his own republicans find him too extreme!Cruz unfavourable May 2014
11. The Republican Party is a joke – it has long tried to SUPPRESS voting by poor people, minorities/immigrants. NOW it’s coming up with ways to try to suppress voting by its OWN republicans. That should be easy give the GOP’s history!

The God republicans like to laud so much (when it suits them) is indeed alive — and laughing!

The way I see it, even if every old or poorly educated or rural Tea Party white person who’s never voted turns out to vote for Cruz, (will Trump’s coalition vote for Cruz?) he still needs the rest of us, don’t he? Or do he?

Maybe he don’t – bring it on!

Cruz immigration.jpeg

New York, May 2013. should read: “city of immigrants unwelcomes immigrant!”

I can already see the ads reminding us about the government shutdown…and threatened shutdowns…and NO compromise…and the efforts he led, SUCCESSFULLY, to DERAIL Immigration Reform and to CHALLENGE Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and to BLOCK President Obama’s executive Order on Immigration.

Hispanics, the fastest growing voting bloc, just LOVE Ted Cruz. Trump says he would deport the undocumented and “let them come back” with conditions. Cruz says: I’ll round you up and DEPORT you and you can take your U.S. born kids with you plus YOU WILL NOT EVER COME BACK IF I CAN HELP IT! Such Christian charity and compassion…such values!

As of 2013, Cuban immigrants made up nearly 3-percent of the immigrants living in America…that’s MORE than a million Cuban immigrants who, incidentally, are NOT taking U.S. jobs – they’re all somehow working in Florida for Fidel Castro. (I’m NOT bashing YOU, Cuban immigrant. I’m an immigrant too! Just calling out Cruz on immigrants taking U.S. jobs!)

Graham on Cruz

Like I said: BRING IT ON!

Because democrats may not be flocking to the Primaries like republicans are right now, but rest assured, a nominee Cruz WOULD  BRING every old or poorly educated or urban black, Hispanic, immigrant, gay person out of the woodwork too!

Did I say “bring it on!”? Let’s cruise…Cruz!

Republican: American Workers are Dope Addicts

Have you heard?

One Republican congressman, Rep. Dave Joyce (R-Ohio) says – quote:

Rep Joyce

David Joyce: Represents Ohio’s 14th congressional district

According to an online news story, Joyce says that’s because “they either can’t find people to come to work sober, daily, drug-free and want to learn the necessary skills going forward to be able to do those jobs.”

OMG!!! Illegal immigrants have SO much to answer for!

Businesses CANNOT find 3 MILLION people to HIRE? WHERE, oh where are the illegal immigrants hiding?

Why? Because as Republicans claim, Illegal Immigrants are taking ALL the jobs from American workers – and now you’re telling me…

jobs

American workers – forget it. Don’t want dope addicts like you on the job!

NO, wait – a REPUBLICAN is telling me…

Rep. Dave Joyce (R-Ohio) is TELLING America that there are JOBS that Americans CANNOT fill (for whatever reason) but according to HIM: “because they either can’t find people to come to work sober, daily, drug-free and want to learn the necessary skills going forward to be able to do those jobs”…

Said the night wind, I mean…unbelieving immigrant…to the little lamb…er, republican senator… “Do you hear what I hear…?”

Rep Joyce – HAVE YOU BEEN LYING TO US all this time – when you and your GOP colleagues BLAMED illegal immigrants for “taking” American jobs…decimating the middle class…?

worker

NOT doped out – you won’t! Hey, according to Joyce (not me!)

Don’t know WHERE he gets his facts from…but…

OH dear, dear me!

And the Truth shall set Illegal Immigrants free…

Hey, John Boehner, apparently the two of you come from a different Ohio – (he’s probably from Ohio, Canada a la Ted Cruz maybe?) No, I don’t mean Ontario! Ohio, Canada or Ohio, Hawaii…

king

King – Calls Hispanics kids: drug mules…

Republicans have about insulted every ethnic/minority that they can:

Poor black people, poor white people, homosexuals, blacks, Jews, Hispanics – especially Hispanics, women, single mothers, Asians, the tax-dodging 48%, immigrants…you name it.

Joyce’s fellow Republican Steve King calls Hispanic immigrants: drug mules

Now Joyce finds an end point for these drugs…

Next week, another Republican will disclose who are the drug kinpins raking in the money.  Can’t wait…

angels

Next target to insult Angels!

Yep. Watch Republicans go after Angels for lazing about in Heaven ALL day while allowing us sinners to run amok on Earth…!!!

(Using Angles as a metaphor only!)

Romney: “Do You Hear Me Now?”

If your neighbor told you: “Yes, I promise. I will fix my pool. It won’t leak into your yard anymore. Trust me. I’ll do it.” Weeks pass, he does not fix it. You call the town council, (and you record that conversation this time.) Your neighbor tells officials:

If only people’s noses got long – every time we told a lie!

“I can’t remember saying there was anything wrong with the pool. But just to be a good neighbor, of course I will look into it.” Months go by, neighbor does nothing. You go to court. You play the tape. Neighbor says, your honor: “I did not mean to say that – I misspoke. What I meant to say was….” Are you still trusting your neighbor?

Well obviously the people who STILL believe in Mitt Romney would keep believing in that neighbor. Me, I’d be done with him after that meeting with town officials!

Mitt Romney was the governor of my state for 4 years.

  • When Republican Mitt Romney was running for governor of Massachusetts in 2002:

Pro-choice supporters were up in arms over Romney’s anti-abortion stance. Did Romney stand on his principles – say that’s what I believe and I’m standing by it? NO. He pandered to the PRO CHOICE groups by cozying up to them…

Romney’s platform stated: “As Governor, Mitt Romney would protect the current pro-choice status quo in Massachusetts. No law would change.” After an endorsement interview with Romney, the executive director of Massachusetts NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League) said Romney  was “emphatic that the Republican Party was not doing themselves a service by being so vehemently anti-choice.”

  • When Mitt Romney was running for first the Senate (against Ted Kennedy, 1994) then later governor of Massachusetts:

Gays and gay rights supporters were up in arms. They started making noises about Romney’s anti-homosexual stance. Did Romney stand on his principles – say that’s what I believe and I’m standing by it? NO. He pandered to Gay Rights groups by cozying up to them and winning them over with his concessions.

In 1994, Romney sent a letter to the Log Cabin Republicans (the nation’s only organization of Republicans who support fairness, freedom, and equality for gay and lesbian Americans) saying that he, Romney would be a stronger advocate for gay rights in the Senate than his opponent Ted Kennedy.

Want to hear THAT again?

Bay Windows is New England’s largest publication for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender readers.

Romney said HE, Mitt Romney would be a stronger advocate for gay rights in the Senate than Liberal Ted Kennedy! In case you’re wondering, that is the very SAME Mitt Romney now running for president. Unless we used our bio-tech skills at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to clone Governor Romney and it’s his clone speaking now? Heck who knows. Isn’t President Obama an alien?

According to Wikipedia, Romney stated in his letter: “We must make equality for gays and lesbians a mainstream concern.” In 2002, Romney supported domestic partnership benefits. He said: “All citizens deserve equal rights, regardless of their sexual orientation.” Romney also said that domestic partnership status should be recognized in a way that includes the potential for health benefits and rights of survivorship…

  • When Mitt Romney was governor of Massachusetts:

He promised NOT to raise taxes. Did he raise taxes? NO. But guess what he did. He raised FEES.

In 2003, Romney doubled fees for court filings like marriage licensing fees, professional registrations and firearm licenses. Romney also quintupled the per gallon delivery fee for gasoline (to clean leaks from underground fuel tanks).

Here’s what he had to say about fees: “…let’s say, we’re going to be taking out an oil tank from your back yard because it’s leaking into the ground and the state’s going to provide that service. But to charge a fee sufficient to do so makes a lot of sense. So the fees ought to be adjusted from time to time to compose the amount of what the cost is of providing that service. If there hasn’t been a fee raised in a couple of decades, you probably have some inflation in there you ought to adjust for.”

  • When Mitt Romney was governor of Massachusetts (2003-2007):

He championed universal health care reform – UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE WITH A MANDATE, which the Supreme Court now says is a TAX!

When you hear Republicans talking about how bi-partisan Romney was in Massachusetts, think HEALTH CARE REFORM! Romney was so supportive of health care for ALL – so FOR it, he worked with John Kerry and Ted Kennedy to ram it through against opposition from other state democrats WHO DID NOT SUPPORT THE MANDATE.

Romney decided to tackle health care reform for two reasons:

  • Romney’s buddy, Staples founder Thomas Stemberg (the same one who spoke at the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, August 30) TOLD Romney to do it
  • And because the federal government (under Republican president George W. Bush, 2001-2009) was threatening to CUT Medicaid payments to the state if Massachusetts did not reduce the number of uninsured people.

The Massachusetts Senate (controlled by democrats) had its OWN version of health care reform. The Massachusetts House (controlled by democrats) had its OWN version of health care reform. Romney appointed a committee and came up with his own version – WHERE HE, ROMNEY, PUSHED FOR AN INDIVIDUAL MANDATE. Repeat, Romney PUSHED for the Individual Mandate!

Today, Romney is AGAINST the very SAME mandate in the Federal HEALTH CARE Act…that HE Romney pushed for in the Massachusetts law!

Romney was SO proud of the Massachusetts health care law – “Romneycare”, in his official portrait at the Massachusetts state house…he reportedly has a copy of the law sitting on HIS DESK! I guess he now wishes he could go back and air brush the portrait.

President Obama liked the Romney/Kennedy health care law so much, he used it as a model for his own health care reform (Obamacare).

  • When Mitt Romney was governor of Massachusetts:

He spent so much time out of the state promoting his future (as yet undeclared) run for president that newspapers started to report on his absences. In one year, he spent 212 days or part of a day OUT of Massachusetts. He just gave up and decided that he was better off running for president instead…

Did you know that when Mitt Romney was running for governor of Massachusetts:

  • He tried to show that he was an ordinary person that he was NOT out of touch by performing blue-collar jobs. Romney herded cows, he baled hay, unloaded a fishing boat and even hauled garbage.
  • He ran TV ads highlighting his blue-collar work, gushing about his family (yea, the same family he’s trying to use to “humanize” him now) and even went shirtless. Massachusetts voters did not buy it – Romney dropped in the polls.
  • He bounced back by attacking his opponent, Democrat Shannon O’Brien…and linking her husband to the Enron scandal.
  • That Romney contributed over $6 million of his own money to his campaign for governor…
  • That one of the reasons he put forward for electing him governor is that he knows how to get money from the federal government because he did it for the Utah Olympics. The same Romney who just HATES federal bailouts NOW!

Ah politics. Mr. Romney, please talk about your record in Massachusetts, we can’t hear you! Shout: “Massachusetts! Can you hear me now?”

“We’re not sure, presidential candidate Romney. We find it hard to believe it is YOU out there, promising to ‘repeal’ that universal health care mandate. Is it really YOU we’re hearing, Governor Romney?”
